Partick Thistle 1-2 Aberdeen: 'Referee robbed us of three points' - Graham
Partick Thistle head coach Brain Graham unhappy as Aberdeen fight-back to win at Petershill Park
Brian Graham said the officials had “robbed” Partick Thistle of three points in his side’s 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen at Petershill Park on Sunday.
Eight-placed Partick led through Cara McBrearty first-half goal, but had a second chalked off after Clare Docherty’s prodded home.
After the break Bayley Hutchison scored twice for the visitors to clinch the points, with Graham also believing the Dons striker’s first should not have counted.
“These are huge moments,” Graham told Anyone’s Game. “We’re a team down there [near of the bottom of the table], the girls are fighting for everything they’ve got, to go and lose in that manner is sickening.
“We scored a perfectly good goal and he rules it out because he said the goalkeeper had the ball in her hands, and she’s not got the ball in her hands, it’s 2-0. He’s robbed us of three points.
“I think the first goal they score is a foul, Bayley Hutchison has pushed Rosie [Slater], two hands in the back, made her off balance, and she gets the bounce of the ball and she’s in one-on-one.”
