“Fourth spot is there to play for” says Spartans head coach Debbi McCulloch as they attempt to become the highest placed Edinburgh side in the SWPL 1.
Spartans are currently level on points with Hibernian, despite losing 2-1 to Dean Gibson’s side on the opening day of the season.
The two square off again at Ainslie Park on 4 April when the long-awaited return of SWPL 1 arrives.
“That would tick our boxes, definitely,” McCulloch told Anyone’s Game.
“Certainly for us to be in the top four would be a fantastic achievement for a club like ourselves.”
Listen now to the chat with Debbi, recorded at the start of lockdown, as she talks about about the season so far and also being touted to be Shelley Kerr’s successor with Scotland.
