Rangers will not get carried away as they close in on a first ever SWPL title, insists Nicola Docherty.
The defender scored as Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0 in front of over 4,000 fans at Ibrox on Sunday.
They remain five points clear of champions Glasgow City with three games to go, with a trip to Motherwell on Sunday up next.
“We have put ourselves in a great position but at Rangers Football Club it's all about one game at a time, that is what we have been doing all season and for us the next game is Motherwell,” said Docherty.
Sam Kerr, Kayla McCoy and Lizzy Arnott also scored in the win over the Dons as the women’s team got to experience playing at the 50,000 capacity stadium for the first time.
“It was a fantastic day,” said Docherty.
"To play at Ibrox was an unbelievable feeling. I got goose bumps walking out and listening to simply the best as I am a Rangers fan as well.
“We could have easily played the occasion and slipped up, but look for us I think it showed our class today and a real solid performance from the girls and a clean sheet that we take great pride.”
