On Friday, Scottish champions Glasgow City face a huge challenge in Europe against Wolfsburg. But just who are the German giants they will face in San Sebastian?
How good are they?
Twice winners of the Champions League, Wolfsburg have been finalists four-times overall, most recently two years ago when they went down 4-1 to Lyon. If there is one team they fear it is likely the French cracks who have beat them four years in a row.
At home, they are league winners fours years in a row. Bayern Munich offered them a tough challenge but finished eight points behind. Hoffenheim were also a threat, but Die Wölfinnen (The She-wolves) went all 22 leagues game unbeaten - scoring 93 goals and conceding just eight.
What's their form in the Champions League been like in this season’s competition?
They beat Mitrovica of Kosovo 15-0 on aggregate in the last 32, then beat FC Twente 7-0 on aggregate to set up the tie with Glasgow City.
Who are their best players?
Denmark's Pernille Harder has scored five of those 22 Champions League goals this season. She has scored 61 goals for her country, one of which was against Scotland in 2017. She has made the Uefa Women's Champions League squad of the year three years in a row, and was shortlisted for the Ballon D'or in 2018. Although she didn't take that award, she was named the best women's player in the world by The Offside Rule podcast that year.
They also have the impressive Polish forward Ewa Pajor, though she has come up short in Scotland before. She had a penalty saved as Shelley Kerr's national side won 3-0 in a World Cup qualifier in 2018.
After signing Pauline Bremer, Katarzyna Kiedrzynek and Lena Oberdorf, they have added German international Kathrin Hendrich on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.
Where do they play?
They play at the 5,200 capacity AOK-Stadion, which is in the shadow of the impressive Volkswagen Arena, which holds up to 30,000.
The city of Wolfsburg itself - the fifth biggest in Germany - is the richest in the country thanks to its thriving auto industry.
