Glasgow City crowned SWPL 1 champions
Scott Booth's side make it 14-in-a-row as Celtic take second Champions League spot
Glasgow City are champions for the 14th time in a row after a 2-0 win over Rangers clinched the SWPL 1 title.
They finished three points ahead of Celtic, who had to settle for the consolation of a Champions League spot.
Celtic hammered Motherwell 8-0 at the Penny Cars Stadium and needed Rangers to do them a favour at Broadwood.
But City were two-up by half-time through the impressive Hayley Lauder and Niamh Farrelly.
And the champions rarely looked in danger of surrendering their lead as they completed the campaign with just one defeat.
