Glasgow City are already aiming for 15-in-a-row said Hayley Lauder after they beat Rangers 2-0 at Broadwood to clinch the SWPL 1 title on the final day of the season.
Needing only a draw, Lauder scored the opener before Niamh Farrelly added a second as they finished three points ahead of closest challengers Celtic and eight clear of Rangers.
And they’re not ready to give up their hold on the league flag just yet.
“That’s the aim,” Lauder told Anyone’s Game. “This club just always keeps pushing forward.
“This year Rangers and Celtic invested heavily but that doesn’t stop us from pushing forward and improving ourselves.”
She added: [I’m] just absolutely buzzing. When we came back after lockdown we dug in as a squad and a team and that showed today. A draw was enough but we wanted to go out and win and I think we showed why we’re the top team in the country at the minute.”
